The Akatsuki from Naruto was once a group who did good, but now they’ve descended into villainy. This one is interesting because Zetsu was technically two beings inhabiting the same body, and White Zetsu was killed during the Fourth Great Ninja War when Sasuke used him as target practice while testing out his new eyes.
Naruto: Every Member Of The Akatsuki (In The Order They Died) In the anime, the Akatsuki were asked to help in dealing with him, but after seeing his prowess and the fact that he could take out one of Kakuzu’s hearts, he was given the offer to join the organization.
At some point, he left the village and joined the Akatsuki.
